So I was brought back to LJ by finding an inundation (is that a word?) of notifications in my yahoo spam folder. Thank you all for the e-gifts nice to know that although absent I'm still thought of!! I hope everyone had a wonderful xmas and enjoys an amazing new year bringing with it all those opportunties we want and/or need!

I don't know how long for, and it's pretty much been the case for a while now just not offically, but I'm going to put my journal on hiatus. I apologise for my lack of posting and commenting up until this point, and I understand if people want to cut me! I don't know when/if I'll be back to LJ, I'm considering just deleting it all together, but then I think i'd miss it too!!
Anyway, I just wanted to keep you all up to date. Hope everyone is doing well, and anyone who wants feel free to email or IM me!!

Did ya all read about Antwon Tanner being arrested???
"One Tree Hill" star Antwon Tanner was arrested today in connection with a Social Security card scheme, authorities said.
Tanner, who turned 34 on Tuesday, surrendered to federal prosecutors this morning and will be arraigned this afternoon in Brooklyn Federal Court.
Feds have accused Tanner of "knowingly and intentionally" transferring Social Security cards last year "with intent to defraud."
Tanner is famous for playing high school basketball star Antwon "Skills" Taylor on the hit CW show "One Tree Hill."
He has also appeared in several movies, including the 2005 flick "Coach Carter" starring Samuel L. Jackson.

 AU We all know that whatever the circumstance if Nathan and Haley met – there would be sparks! It’s undeniable, and for that reason alone we are a group of fans who love our AU fics. If it’s Nathan and Haley – and it’s set in a different Tree Hill, or a different place or time entirely – and it’s favourite of yours – this is where we want to know about it! Please list the name of the story – the author – and a link to where the story can be read! We’re not putting a limit on how many you can rec, and we know we have an incredible group of writers out there but please bear in mind that this is a favourites list as opposed to a compilation so be selective people! It can be a one shot or a chapter story, the only criteria is it be complete. We know there are some brilliant WIP’s out there but this time we’re focusing on stories that are finished! We’d really appreciate it if for at least one fic you could tell us why you love it so much, and why you’d encourage other people to read it. E.g The Perfection Distraction by Annie - http://theycanwatch.com/OTHFanfic/NHFanfic/Fic-PerfectDistraction.html I’m recommending this fic because I think the author really captures the characters as they were at the moment. Nathan’s whole life was in turmoil but he finds a calmness in Haley despite it all – and although the writers gets this across she does so by them having a typical teenage moment – instead of flowery words and sentimental declarations. There is not a doubt in my mind that this scene could slot easily into the episode! For all those reasons I think this story would be enjoyed by anyone who loved the early days of naley! |
